In the context of growing geopolitical instability, democratic backsliding, and challenges to the rules-based international order, the project aimed to contribute to informed and fact-based public debate on Slovakia’s position within Europe and the wider transatlantic space. The project focused on the production of analytical and journalistic content addressing global security developments, democratic resilience, rule of law issues, and Slovakia’s relationship with the European Union.
Over the implementation period from March to November 2026, the project produced articles, interviews, podcasts, policy briefs, public discussions, and social media content. These activities aimed to increase public awareness of foreign and security policy issues, strengthen understanding of democratic values and international cooperation, and support informed debate on challenges affecting Slovakia and the broader European and transatlantic region.
By combining continuous media coverage, expert analysis, and targeted outreach activities, the project supported evidence-based discussion on democracy, foreign policy, and the rule of law, while highlighting the indispensable role of free and independent media in maintaining stability, democratic resilience, and informed public discourse.
Project is being implemented in cooperation with Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Prague from March 2026 to November 2026,
