Within the timeframe, leading to the national parliament election (September 30), which may ultimately “change its pro-european, pro-transatlantic, and overall democratic course”, and shortly after, the activities of this project intend to contribute to the nation-wide debate, focused on avoiding the formation of an illiberal and undemocratic government.

The objective is to focus on two main subjects, relevant within this debate. To follow up with the expertise, gained over the years through a continuous cooperation between the HBS and EuroPolicy, these subjects will be related to a) Slovak foreign policy in the context of 2023 parliamentary elections, and b) Support for inclusive feminist policies (Women´s Representation and Respect for LGBTI+ People).

EuroPolicy therefore aims to increase public and stakeholders' awareness of selected issues and contribute to the debate, embracing the society to struggle for political rights and civil liberties.

The project is being implemented from April to November 2023. Project activities are carried out in cooperation with the Prague Office of Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.
