To build upon successful activities, accomplished by the support of the HBS, EuroPolicy intends to extend a gender aspect in the discussion on foreign policy, especially when facing authoritarian regimes.

Upon a request for a specificity in framework topics, the activities in the new project shall therefore:

  • contribute to the debate on Feminist Foreign Policy (FFP) development and the role of women (1) as diplomats and agenda setters in Slovak, V4, CEE and European foreign policy framing, and (2) as influencers in authoritarian regimes, in particular Russia, Belarus, China and Turkey through a fact-based, fair arguments and quality discussion;
  • increase public and stakeholders´ awareness of issues, related to women´s roles in framing foreign policy narratives and agendas, and elements included in the FFP;
  • involve male decision makers in feminist foreign policy agenda.

The project is being implemented from April to November 2022. Project activities are carried out in cooperation with the Prague Office of Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.
